Colour Challenge #11

...is Soft Suede, Crumb Cake, and Blushing Bride

Here is my card. I'm not really excited about it but I think this stamp set would be great for framed decor. But I'm going to try another way with it.

Technique Tip: To change the ink colour on part of a stamp, ink stamp with the first colour then take the blender pen and remove the ink from the area you want to change colour. Once all ink is removed, take the marker and apply ink to that area. This technique was used on the crib and sentiment.

Colour Challenge #7

It has been far to long since I've posted a colour challenge and I noticed that I had skipped challenge #7. I did make a card with this colour challenge but never posted it. So I will show that card but also my new card.

Today's colour challenge is: Poppy Parade, Pear Pizzazz, So Saffron

This Happy Birthday card was made using the Bliss stamp set which is no longer available.
I made this card using one of the new Hostess sets. One thing I love about Stampin' Up! is they come up with new ways of giving us free products. If you are familiar with the hostess program we provide then you will know that it has changed. Before July 1st, we had hostess levels which if you sell a certain amount of products you could get one item from the hostess level that you achieved. Now, you earn hostess dollars and all hostess sets are easy to achieve. For selling $200 in products, before taxes and shipping, you earn $35 in hostess dollars. With that you can get 2 stamp sets just for being a hostess!! Isn't that just GREAT!?!?

Now on to today's card list.

Supplies
Stamp Set: Precious Butterflies *Hostess set 122515W & 122517C
Card Stock: Pear Pizzazz -5 1/2 x 8 1/2 scored at 4 1/4 & circle; So Saffron 5 1/4 x 4 & border; Poppy Parade 5 x 3 3/4; Whisper White 4 3/4 x 2 & circle
