Close to being 4 no more...

Gotta love that Sydney is right!! Almost turning 5, Sydney is very much the same as when she turned 4 except for school. Thankfully she loves going to school every day that she has to go and begs to go the days she doesn't go. Love that change about her!!

Sydney's first birthday!

I am working hard on getting a craft night planned for the month of October. At the same time, I'm working on my Christmas card class so lots is going on around here.

Wow...it's been a while

I can't believe it's been 3 months since my last post. So sorry about that.

Working away in my stampin' studio...

I've been working on my stampin' studio for the past week. I still don't have walls for a room to call my own (lots of other things going on instead) but I'm okay with that. My girls leave my Stampin' Up! products alone so I'm not worried about that. I've been organizing and creating spaces for things such as my stamps, card stock, punches and more. I didn't realize how much time it would take to get this area the way I wanted it.

The girls and I gave my husband his bike licence and this motorcycle for his 30th birthday! He was so excited!! Unfortunately, he ended up selling it due to not having time to ride anymore. He works late every day and weekends in the summer are filled with camping and dirt bike races. We also bought a new camping trailer for our camping trips!



This layout was another one that I got from the great Heather Summers MDS class that I took over the winter months.

Father's Day Page...

I know that Father's day has passed already but I wanted to share what we made for my husband. It is a MDS page and made very quick and easily then printed at home.

Once we printed the page we trimmed it down to just outside the border then added Marina Mist card stock to give it a finished look.

The girls were excited to give there scrapbooked cards, school projects and this page to their daddy.

Rainbow Fun

I loved doing this page. It did take a bit of time to get my rainbow, buttons, and brads in place but the end results is well worth it!

I created the rainbow background using the Hello Baby pennant punch. I started with the green one. Once I created the size that I wanted and the angle I wanted I copied and pasted the rest. I had to find the right angle for each of them. On mine it worked out to be rotated by 15s.

The white circles is the dotted circle large stamp from the Circle Circus stamp set. I did enlarge it but I'm not concerned with the fluzzy look. I made sure that there was one large circle in each colour. Then I added the buttons and brads after.

Announcing some new things!!

As you have seen that I've been crazy with the My Digital Studio (MDS), creating scrapbook pages, invitations, and tags. I had my first MDS class last week and I enjoyed it very much. I love being able to share what I love to do with others. Talking about sharing what I love, Stampin' Up! has an upgraded MDS coming our way!! My Digital Studio 2 (MDS 2)!!! This program is available late 2012 but don't wait until the new program comes out to get it. If you order the current MDS now, when the MDS 2 is available you get to download it for FREE!!! That is exciting!!! There are lots of upgrades on this new program! I am excited to get my hands on it!

Our current catalogue is expiring on May 31st which means there are lots of retired items available until May 31st then we get our new caddy!!! I have seen the new catalogue and I love it! There are a few things that I will miss because they are retiring but the great thing about Stampin' Up! is they always come out with new stuff.

My Family

I love this page especially the feet photo. I do have to say that journalling is a challenge for me. I feel that it's something that opens up my thoughts and feelings to others therefore it's hard to do.

Another MDS Page

When we moved in with my mom we had to give our dog of 8 years away. Titan was such a great dog and we miss him very much. Unfortunately he ran away from his new home. We are still sad that we can not visit him anymore.

Anyway, I enjoyed playing around with this page. The circles are a punch that I aligned to create what looks like a quilt with the title being in the circles.

I love...

My Digital Studio!! I have been very busy playing with this program. I have created several pages. A big thanks to Heather Summers for her MDS course that I'm taking and learning so much from it. As you can see, I've made my blog header and some other things on my blog. It was lots of fun to do.

I've also been very busy with the new home. Lots of organizing going on and still more to do. My Scrap With Susie Studio is not complete yet. I'm really hoping we can get this done soon.

Anyway, here is a page I created with the MDS program.

Update

We have officially moved into our new home! Wow, what a crazy few days. Now my house is still very unorganized but I'm okay with that. I'm slowly working on getting things in their place.

Here's a page for you showing the start of building our home.

Something I've been doing while using My Digital Studio is creating my own embellishments. I created the digger using several layers of punches.

My Digital Studio Scrapbook Page

I hope you liked my scrapbook page yesterday. I really am enjoying the My Digital Studio program from Stampin' Up! I have created another page. Hope you like it!

One of the great things about this program is that you can match the colours from your photos to the colours on your page! That is what I've done here with the word sisterly and a few other elements on the page.

Just an update on what is going on, I will be only doing My Digital Studio for the next month as we are moving in less then 2 weeks. I hope to get my Stampin' Studio up and running by the beginning of May.

My Digital Studio Scrapbook Page

I started a class with my second upline of Stampin' Up! Heather Summers on My Digital Studio. In this class, we are given a scrapbook page to work on whether we case the page or tweak it is up to each person. We get a new page every day. We also get videos of different tricks that we can do with punches, embellishments, colours, photos and so on using MDS (My Digital Studio).

Here is my page of day 1. This page is of my 3rd daughter Carsyn who discovered playing peek-a-boo using the elliptical. I love how quick and easy I can put a page together.
